New River Walk.  Meet on Platform 11, Stratford Station to catch the 10:00 service towards Bishop Stortford,  changing at Enfield Lock for Broxbourne.  Note: Oyster 60+ and Freedom Passes not valid beyond Enfield Lock. Use PAYG Oyster, contactless bank card or purchased ticket.  Our walk from Broxbourne continues south following the New River. We will be returning to London on TFL service.  Our journey will continue in the Spring.

Meet on Platform 1, Barking Station for a train to Blackhorse Road Station. The walk is around the Walthamstow Wetlands with a break at the Visitor Centre.  Some paths around the wetlands get closed off for bird nesting and other reasons, but the route will be finalised before the day.

Meet at Hampstead Station (NorthernLine) for a circular walk with fine views of London on Hampstead Heath. Mainly on heathland tracks. We will stop for refreshments during the walk.

Meet at Harold Wood Station for car share to High Elms Country Park in Kent. Walk via Cudham to Downe (Charles Darwin’s home) for lunch. Pubs and café in Downe.  Possibility of afternoon tea in High Elms Visitor Centre at end.  Hilly but no rush.
